Jaypee Mural - Design Ideas / Development

 Scales Design Development
After speaking to Jaypee about the design direction me and David went away and produced imagery to go with the theme of 'The balance between graphic design and the real world'. David went away and worked on some type for above the door and I produced an illustration which visually represented the concept. I was instructed to work with 2 colours to keep paint down to a minimum.
I decided to illustrate 'objects' which we all associate with our real lives and our time at uni. I to literally balance the 2 using a pair of scales. This would fit nicely on the large wall filling the space and creating something for future years to gaze upon during those morning briefings.
It took me several attempts before I could balance the right hand side as evenly as the left.

Final Choice
I was finally happy with how the scales were balanced and felt the imagery used summed up the concept nicely. I then sent this off to Jaypee to get his verdict on the possible mural.
